Buggy Desert Safari provides professional instruction to all who rent our bikes. No matter your skill level, our staff will ask questions to assess your ability and provide extra oversight for novice riders. To further protect our clients, we also provide quality safety gear. The dune trails can be exhilarating but also dangerous; driving on asphalt is nothing compared to riding through sand dunes! Suddenly beautiful scenery may become obscured in sand making it hard to see anything clearly; our safety gear ensures you’re covered in case an emergency arises!
All safety equipment is provided at no charge in order to guarantee your safety while driving. When riding in a buggy, make sure you have your helmet, gloves or protective clothing on. These will shield you from small stones and pebbles as well as debris that might pass by quickly. Furthermore, having these items on can prevent falling off the buggy during high speeds.
Due to the unpredictable nature of desert driving, you should always be alert for other buggies behind or ahead. Buggies can become dangerously close if they are in your path.
Dune buggy accidents often result from speeding. To ensure you remain in control of your buggy, drive at a pace that allows for quick steering. Follow instructions carefully and don’t drift off course.
For maximum visibility, always keep your headlights on. Even a slight bump in the desert could be a hill or hole that could cause you to roll over; use your lights to detect potential danger terrain and adjust accordingly.
Tour guides take the time to plan safe routes for you during your buggy ride in the desert. When driving over dunes, exercise extra caution; do not accelerate rapidly up and down these slopes as it could lead to a crash and jump off the edge.

Desert Buggy Rental is a family-friendly service. Our buggies can safely accommodate children of most ages, but toddlers and other children not riding along.
When riding in the desert, there are few restrictions on what you can wear. Wear whatever feels most comfortable to you – avoid sandals or flip-flops as these could fall off the buggy. Additionally, baggy clothing may get caught in the sand and cause discomfort while riding in a buggy.
Our buggies can reach speeds of 120km/hour or higher. These powerful machines make traveling through the desert effortless, providing comfort for you and your passengers. However, it is best to limit your speed to what you feel comfortable driving safely.
